Logo Design (with a Little Honesty)
While logo design hasn’t been a core focus of my work over the years, when I do get the opportunity,
I bring the same level of thought, craft, and storytelling that I apply to every project. This mark was created
for a corporate event—celebrating the Greek Isles and Dalmatian Coast as part
of a President’s Club experience. The design elevated the theme and was genuinely loved by the client.
It’s a great example of how even a one-off assignment can carry meaning, style, and a little magic.

Western Weekend: A logo With Legs—and Hooves.
This animated logo for Western Michigan University’s “Western Weekend” event began with a nod to tradition—a classic horseshoe—but flipped into something fresh. The splatter-painted reveal incorporated all of the university’s core brand colors, anchoring the mark in the institution’s visual identity while adding an energetic, celebratory twist. It didn’t stop there: this single image set the tone for an entire campaign, influencing everything from direct mail and signage to social media and event collateral. A perfect example of how a simple logo, done right, can ripple across every channel with style, cohesion, and spirit.

Sundance 30th Anniversary — Celebratory Logo Mark
Created for Sundance’s 30th Anniversary campaign, this mark captures the spirit of Americana and the brand’s enduring
craftsmanship. Its hand-drawn forms, warm color palette, and laurel motif echo Sundance’s Western roots while aligning
with the campaign’s fall imagery and sense of place. Designed as both a commemorative emblem and a unifying element
across channels, it celebrates three decades of artistry, authenticity, and creative legacy.
